About Burton

This is Burton, a 6 years old Australian Cattledog who weighs 50 pounds. Burton knows his basic commands: sit, come, stay, down, and recall. He takes treats politely, too (click the red YouTube button to see the video). He even knows some agility. Burton is house trained. He is a good adventure partner as he is good on leash and good in the car. Burton is a typical Cattledog in that he prefers a polite introduction. Men carrying large objects make him nervous so he should be watched when that is happening. Burton isn't a fan of kids and has nipped a few, so no small kids for this boy. Burton seems good with polite and mellow dogs his size or smaller. Burton loves to fetch. He is good out on walks but will bark when things make him anxious. With his people, he loves to cuddle. He is loyal and would like a quieter home where it's okay to be a Cattledog who behaves like a Cattledog. Ideally his new home has him spending lots of time with his person. Burton is neutered and microchipped. He is located in Canoga Park and is available to meet adopters who can meet and adopt in SoCal. We do not ship our dogs.
