From the shelter: We are coming to you for two special little ladies. You're right, they are all special but these ladies are not only special, they also come with a special circumstance. Possibly sisters, one of these little girls needs surgery and the other needs time. Candy, (A509940) has bilateral mammary masses that need to be removed and little sister, Cookie A509939 needs more time to get to know someone. She is scared and withdrawn. Candy is out going and friendly, she'll jump in anyone's lap but Cookie hides in the dark corners hoping that no one will see her. We believe that due to Candy's medical issues, she likely will not get adopted and because Cookie is so scared, she probably won't get adopted so we are hoping as I am sure, they are hoping that the two of them can get rescued together. We've attached Candy's medical notes below and a picture of the two of them together. Candy is going to need her surgery fairly quickly before it becomes worse.'
