Looking for a little throwback? I got you babe. Sonny & Cher are an iconic duo of 5 year old Morkies (Maltese/Yorkshire Terrier) looking for their forever home! These two have been together their whole lives and are very dependent on each other. Sonny, the silver and tan boy, will be the first to greet you along with anyone he meets. He is very outgoing and likes to be the star of the show. Cher, the little black girl, follows close in her brothers foot steps and warms up quickly! Sonny weighs 11 pounds and Cher weighs 8.7 pounds. They are both full grown and full of personality. These two love the spotlight and need all the attention all the time. They will need a home where their people are around more often than not. They have been great with adults but we do recommend older, dog savvy kids. They would love to meet the entire family before adoption. Sonny and Cher will need to be the only animals in the home as they can be a bit to bossy together with other dogs. They are a smart pair that are kennel trained and know 'sit and come'. Sonny and Cher have separation anxiety so they will cry if separated from each other and will both need plenty of attention from the people they love. They are not yet fully house broken and will need training to correct marking behavior. They would love an active home that can keep up with them and a securely fenced in backyard so everyone can run around together and play. They are hypoallergenic, non-shedding and will require regular grooming to keep them funky fresh. Sonny and Cher are altered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and vet checked. Their adoption fee together is $450 and includes a complementary vet exam. To potentially adopt them, come to our shelter location at 1102 W Hatcher Road in Phoenix 85021, open Tuesday to Sunday 11am to 6pm. --Covid update: To adhere to CDC guidelines, we are open for adoptions only at a max capacity of 10 people in the building at a time.
