About Cooper

Cooper is an 8-year old chihuahua that weighs 8 lbs. He originally came to us from a hoarding situation, the previous owner had over 50 dogs in a filthy trailer. We did adopt him out about 2 years ago but he has been returned because the owner is no longer able to take care of him. He is very shy at first meeting and will take a few days to warm up. He does need an owner that will be patient, once he knows you, he is a cuddler and will sit in your lap. He's mellow and not a barker, he's been quiet since we took him back on April 15th. He's great with other dogs and cats too. He's not aggressive at all, just shy. He just had blood work done and his teeth cleaned. He is up-to-date on vaccines, neutered and microchipped.
