About Poundcake

Poundcake (1yr old male) grew up with a brother and another squad of kittens, and is social. His foster mom would often find him sleeping in trees as a kitten. When Poundcake was finally brave enough to venture inside, he started off very shy, hiding quietly on the kitchen chair for hours. He spent a few weeks being pet from his safe position before coming out and playing with his indoor friends. He enjoys batting around whatever dog or cat toys he can find, but really comes alive to feather wands and tennis balls. Most of all he loves face rubs and affection. The more love he gets the more his personality comes through. He doesn't play with her dog like the other cats, but he isn't afraid of him either. Mostly curious. The ideal home would be with other cats, and non aggressive dogs. As for children, we are not sure. He has an identical brother named Sweet Potato and while we would prefer they are adopted together, we know that is not always possible, so we will consider separating to the right home. The adoption fee for both cats together is $200. All cats are at least 8 weeks old at time of adoption, are spayed/neutered, FeLV/FIV tested, dewormed, microchipped, vaccinated (FVRCP and rabies - if at least 16 wks old), and given a starter dose of flea/tick/heartworm prevention.
