About Otto

This is my baby Otto. He is a Rottweiler/Lab mix. I got him 2 years ago this summer from a local shelter where we clicked instantly. They weren't sure of his age, but estimated 4-5 years old at the time so he is around 6-7 years old now. He is very simply a couch potato. He doesn't like to play (fetch, tug, etc) and the only times he gets excited is for treats, when I come home, or to go outside. He is a low-energy fella, but he does like to go out on walks or even runs. He can walk for 1.5-2 miles before he starts slowing down and lagging behind (less if it's hot outside.) He prefers his owners to be home (or at least around him) a lot due to his separation anxiety. He is friendly with other dogs on a case-by-case basis, though more often than not he's not a fan of other dogs and would definitely live his best life as the only dog in the home.
