About Sadie

I rescued Sadie December 4, 2020. The moment I met her she rolled on her back for belly rubs and begged for kisses. I witnessed the most beautiful kind hearted soul that day, and knew I had to save her. Sadie has shown no signs of aggression towards me or my significant other Jacob for the couple of months that we have had her. I do want to mention that she does not get along with small dogs or cats but gets along with my other pit bull just fine. Sadie is so affectionate, and smiles when we come out to see her in the yard. Sadie did require extensive medical attention due to her mistreatment. Sadie is trained in the basics but she will need extra home training and socialization with other pets. I am currently looking into my local humane society foster system to permanently find her a home but they cannot take in any more animals. I had to take on her medical bills alone, as a struggling college student and full time employee at a pet store. We took Sadie to the vet December 10th to fix the hematoma on her ear as well as the severe ear infection. We also went ahead and got her spayed so she will never have to go through pregnancy or having her puppies taken away from her again. In total her medical bills cost $1,200 of money we had to borrow in order to stop her suffering and treat her infections. I cannot keep her anymore, I cannot find her a home, and I do not have time time to train her. Me and my long term partner are splitting up and I am having to move very soon and cannot take her with me. I cannot take her to my local kill shelter humane society because they will probably kill her due to her needing training and not getting along with smaller animals. I can't do that to her, not knowing if she will get to live or die.
