About Morgan

Lab mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

Say hello to Morgan! Morgan is a very sweet 56 pound lab mix and is estimated to be between 1-3 years old. Humans, children, other dogs, learning new tricks, cuddle time, toys, and playing are among some of Morgan's favorite things. She does fantastic and always aims to please with positive reinforcement and a lot of praise. Being that she is such an intelligent dog, she does best with lots of toys, games to provide her with mental stimulation, and consistent training/boundaries. This girl is literally the cutest thing ever! She has such an expressive face and even looks like she has eyebrows! She is more dominant in her play style with dogs that are smaller than her and needs some correction at times from her hoomans with small dogs and young children because of not understanding her size. Don't let that fool you though, she is easily trainable and picks up on things very quickly. With continued training and consistent leadership it is thought that she could learn to do well in living situations with dogs and humans of all ages/sizes. It is not recommended that Morgan live with cats at this time. She is doing well with potty training and crate training. Morgan is the perfect combination of being an active dog but if things are calming down for the night, she can also hang out with you on the couch. Don't pass up a chance to meet this amazing girl! She is spayed, up to date on her vaccines, and is being fostered in Gardners, PA. We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting please submit an application online at Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $300 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $350 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. We are an all-volunteer organization and we are always looking for more help. Learn more about adopting from us or volunteering for us at or check us out on Facebook for more information and a complete list of dogs available for adoption.
