About Leo

Meet super cool Leo!! He's about 4yrs old, pretty chill, a free spirit type of boy. The 1st couple years of his life he didn't have a very nice owner, his present owner says he was probably in an abusive home. The owner was moving and asked his neighbor to take him or he can just let him go in the streets cuz he was just going to leave him in the backyard. So many horrible people out there! So the neighbor is a dog lover and took in Leo and has had him for 2 years. It took him a few days to settle in to his new home, then he felt comfortable but he does get a little nervous with new people til he gets to know you're his friend. He would be best with older kids in the home not small ones. He needs a loving home with patience so he can get used to his new family. His current owner really loves this sweet boy but he's definitely a tricky escape artist and they've done all they can to alter fencing, put down chicken wire etc. but he's like a creative Houdini and they need him to stay safe and hoping we can help find him an amazing home. He's potty trained and loves hanging indoors but loves to explore at night. He sounds like a fun challenge! He lives with 2 dogs now and has lots of fun running and playing on their 1 acre area. He goes for walks but a little uneasy with getting a harness put on. He definitely would thrive with a husky savvy adopter. He's not a fan of crates or being in small confined places so lounging and cuddling on a doggy bed would be relaxing for Leo.
