Please read entire description. Odie's adoption fee is $150. If interested please complete an application on our website at ****No farm animals, cats Meet Odie. This handsome 5 year old is looking for a new home. Once upon a time, we met Odie as a stray at the kennel. He had been running loose, was hit by a car and had to have surgery on his leg. We found a nice family and they have loved him ever since. He has gained some weight, his leg has completely healed, and he is as handsome as ever. We are unsure what his mix is. He has very short legs but has some lab characteristics. It makes him quite adorable. He weighs about 50 pounds. Odie's family moved to a farm in recent months and Odie has decided he likes chickens and goats as snacks, not as friends. He has quite the prey drive. Even though he is separated by a fence, he takes every opportunity to go out the gate and the 4H projects are just no longer safe. Odie would not be a good fit for any small critters including rabbits and cats. He does live with a medium sized dog and does well. He also co-existed in a previous foster home with a large lab. Odie is good with children, but we would recommend older children since this is what he is used to. Odie ideally needs a fenced yard. He is house trained and knows several commands. He does not require being crated when alone. He is used to sleeping at the bottom of his people's bed at night. Odie can be a bit suspicious of certain men / visiting strangers. He warms up at his own speed and sometimes just needs to be put in another room. Ideally, his home should not have a lot of people coming and going. Otherwise, he is a very affectionate boy that loves to snuggle. Odie is up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped, and neutered. If interested, please complete an application on our website at His adoption fee is $150.
