About Gretchen & Jax

Adoption Fee: $600
Schnauzer / Parson Russell Terrier
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Do you believe in LOVE at first sight! Gretchen was pretty happy as the only dog in her foster home, but when Jax entered the picture, there was an immediate love connection! They are posted as adoptable separately, but because of their amazing connection, we are really hoping they can be adopted together! Gretchen is a 1-1/2 year-old, 31 pound standard Schnauzer mix and Jax is a 3-1/2 year-old, 17 pound Wire-haired Parson Russell Terrier. Their matching energy level, playfulness, personality and companionship with each other is spot on! They are fun to watch when they play and so sweet and gentle with each other when they are at rest. Gretchen has the ability to be an agility dog (even with her short legs) and Jax will try and keep up! They would love a big yard so they can chase each other (taking turns of course as to who is chasing who). They both love toys and are learning basic commands but will need continued training and some work walking on a leash. Young children are not recommended due to the fact that they can be rambunctious at times. They are potty trained, love to be brushed and are amazing loyal companions who just love to be wherever you are! The adoption fee for the pair is $600. They are both fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered and microchipped. They will go to their new forever home with collars, harnesses and leashes. If you would like to add these two sweeties to your family, please send an email to: [email protected] to request an application.
