Tristee is a gorgeous Blue Weimaraner. She needs a strong Weim knowledgable owner as she is too smart for her own good. In typical Weim fashion she is velcro dog to her owner so a bit protective on leash. She can be leash reactive to other dogs and selective in which dogs she will get along with. She can and will break out of a crate if left too long. She is being fostered in LANCASTER CALIFORNIA. She is loving and friendly but may be too much for small children so needs a home with no kids. GREAT dog for adults wanting a companion in the home. Would do great in a rural setting with yard to play in. if interested in Tristee please fill out our adoption questionnaire so we can determine if your family is a match for her. https://www.calwear.org/adopt/ MORE of the same om her: She is very loving of one owner. She is food motivated, so she can make human friends. However, she will protect her owner. She is extremely unpredictable around other dogs. She is absolutely horrible on leash with other dogs around. She is not a dog to take to the dog park, the coffee shop, or sidewalks traveled by many dogs. She is unpredictable around kids. No children. She is very protective of her owner. If the prospective adopters are a couple, they need to really work on joint custody. She is good in an outdoor kennel, when she is left alone. She destroyed a varikennel, so crating is not a good option.
