We are looking for a special home willing to open up for these two dogs together. They came in together found on the street. Gorda is a 4YR female and Itchy is a 2YR Male. We're guessing that they are mother and son. Their surrender notes say the owner helped load them into the truck, as one of them bit the officer who was taking them away. We're not sure which one it was, but we are sure it was a very scary and emotional situation for both humans and doggos. Since in the shelter, they were separated and have been fearful in their kennels and hiding under the bed. They do not trust all the new smells and faces, but when they saw each other in the yard it was all wagging tails, nose kisses, and licking faces! They seem more at ease when they are together. They need a home with no quick moving kids or dogs, so they can relax and learn to trust people. They also need some training, so we need help with pledges to save their lives!
