Two year old Chia and her eleven month old daughter Nessa are Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler/Beagle mixes. They were surrendered by a family that had too many dogs and needed to downsize. Both are medium size dogs and weigh less than twenty-two pounds. Chia is a dappled darling with an outgoing playful personality. Nessa is a more reserved but also very gentle and sweet. These two share a special bond and will need to be adopted as a pair. Both of these precious girls will make wonderful family pets. They are good with children and friendly with other dogs. Chia and Nessa are playful but quickly settle down once play time is over. Most of the time you'll find them together sharing a toy or taking a nap. Because they spent most of their time outdoors at their previous home, they will need more work to be housebroken. They do prefer going on grass and should be easy to train if kept on a regular schedule. A fenced in yard will make training much easier and also give them a safe place to run and play. Chia and Nessa are happy, healthy and fun to be around. Are you ready to meet them? To adopt, please go to hsnwga.org, click 'Adoption', then 'Application for Adoption' to complete an online application to be preapproved. Due to the high volume of applications received, our Adoption Coordinator will only contact applicants that best meet the needs of the pet.
