About Llana

Adoption Fee: $50
Mountain Cur / American Staffordshire Terrier
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

Meet Llana. A young female that is approximately 7 months old, found abandoned on the Llano River on March 13, 2021. She was discovered without having a microchip and no owner has been found or come forward to claim her. In our desire to help her find a new home, Llana has been spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated and is heartworm negative. Llana is a special dog that the words loving and affectionate to humans may be an understatement. She enjoys all ages especially young children. She is playful, entertains herself with dog toys, behaves well on a leash, is potty-trained and crate trained at night. However, she does display separation anxiety when having to be crated during the day. In time and with some extra attention, there is hope Llana will be able to regain her sense of security once she finds her new family. We are in need to find her a new Foster Family or Forever Family for the fact that our home is not physically fenced. She is an active young girl that needs to be able to have space to roam freely off a leash. Not having a fenced yard to provide a protective space to allow her to enjoy daily activities and needs is a challenge to us as we continue to work at keeping her safe, happy and thriving. In our short time with her, we know she will make an amazing pet to an individual/ a family that will love her, provide her the time and the attention she needs to continue to heal and thrive.
