About Cody

Cody is a 3 year old male who weighs 77 pounds. Cody here! I was found running around so the staff here at the animal shelter don't really know much about my past so allow me to explain what they have seen since I've been here with them. I was very shy and reserved when I first got here, but as I have gotten to know the staff, I can't help but love them. I am very outgoing and love to go on walks with everyone! I have met a few dogs in my time here and I'm not sure what to think of them. I think I liked one playmate that was very tolerant and playful but the staff thinks I need a controlled environment and a very dog friendly dog if I'm going to be able to play off leash. If it were up to me though, I just want to be the only dog in your home so I can have all the attention to myself :) I haven't met any children yet. I do know that new people take me a little while to warm up to so maybe older children would be best. **Update: Cody was adopted and brought back. His adopters noted that he was very well behaved in the home with nice manners and knowing several commands. He is potty trained. However, outside of the home, he has proven to be very protective of his yard/territory. Cody is looking for a low traffic place where he can feel more relaxed.
