Scooter is an approx. 3 y/o 32# Corgi. He was surrendered by his owners due to 'extreme' separation anxiety. While Scooter does display some anxiety, we do not believe it is extreme and can be effectively managed with training, cbd oil, mental exercise, and physical exercise. And/or a job and/or a dog sport. He's long and lean and gets bored so he needs someone home quite often even in post-covid times. Scooter is mostly potty trained and sleeps in his kennel through the night. Another YOUNG, PLAYFUL dog, his size or a little bigger is REQUIRED in his new home. A secure fenced in yard preferably with lots of room to run around is also REQUIRED in his new home. Corgi/herding breed experience would be best and preference will be given to very active families who will include him in their outings and/or dog sport homes. Scooter is a very smart boy and knows basic cues but craves to learn more and bond with his people. Scooter has not been cat tested but would likely chase cats and a home with children over 12 y/o would be best. Scooter is neutered, utd on vaccs, HW- and chipped. If you are interested in meeting Scooter, the first step is to complete our application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check and meet with everyone in the home. Scooter's adoption fee is $450 and we are not doing any out of state adoptions right now.
