About Thelma

Thelma LAWRENCEVILLE, GA Thelma is a 13lbs, 8 months old Jack Russel girl. She came from a hoarding situation and was very under socialized and shy. She turned around quickly once she realized how good it feels to be safe and loved. She would still need a low traffic home with a fenced in yard. She has to learn to walk on a leash and can't be taken out to go potty on the leash just yet as it terrifies her. That is why she will need a yard to do her business and take baby steps. ( fenced yard is required) Dogs from Hoarding cases will always remain somewhat timid. They will open up and learn to trust they immediate people but start all over again with any stranger. They are amazing dogs but need patience and understanding. She loves to snuggle and is absolutely hilarious. She will play ' tag your it' with you, and it seems and sounds like she is literally giggling when she is playing with you . She is gentle and sweet and gets along with other dogs absolutely great. She is crate trained but not house broken yet. She wouldn't be a good fit for a first tie dog owner probably and need someone patient and understanding. Trust me... Thelma is worth all the effort!
