Hazel was found as a 1 yr old purebred chocolate lab left running in the country side of copperas cove TX. My husband and I took her in and gave her what we thought was a temporary home until we tracked down her owners. She was spayed, vaccinated and microchipped but it turns out her owners never registered her microchip. Animal control was able to find out from her chip were she was chipped and spayed. Turned out the clinic had permanently gone out of business and the last phone call that was on file for her owners was no longer in service. We were hitting one dead end after another. Hazel needs both knees replaced as she is very high energy and did damage to her tendons prior to us finding her. We had an exam done and can not afford for her to have the surgery. She needs a home where she can get the medical care she needs. She has done fine with our 4 other dogs .. Both males and females but she does have a dominant personality. She is still young and full of energy and love.
