2YR Aust Shepherd Mix Male, 30 lbs. Howdy partner, I'm Woody! Gotta love my smile! I'm 30 lb. cutie pie! Woody is an under socialized, fearful dog. This means that he has probably spent the past two years outside on his own, and isn't sure what to make of new people or furry faces. Woody was a bit shy about coming up to a human, but recently, take treats and allows petting! (I'm kinda coming out of my shell!) I even play bowed several times with a staff member that was in the play yard. I am definitely treat-motivated, which can help me continue to learn. Woody will need a secure yard so he can open up on his own time, without the fear of any other dogs on a walk. Woody has started to play with other timid/fearful dogs, but does not know how to interact with bouncy energetic dogs. The shelter requires that children in the home be 12+ and that the Behavior Team meets the whole family before leaving the shelter. Do you have the patience to teach Woody to love today?
