About Athena

Athena is a German Shepherd and is turning 3 sometime this year. She is not spayed nor do I believe she is up to date on vaccinations. She has a massive amount of energy that she wants to burn 24/7. She constantly wants attention and is looking to play or go on an adventure. She knows some basic commands but she doesn't respond well to them as her owner lacked in training and discipline. She jumps on people and lunges at them on walks, she will also play with her mouth. I have attempted to curb these habits but have had no success. She is not leashed trained. She is a good dog who literally craves attention, love and wishes to play and burn off her insane amount of energy. I do not know how she is with other dogs or cats. She is good with children, but definitely doesn't know her own size and strength. She will NEED to be in a home with someone who has the time and means to provide a lifestyle where she can burn her energy and provide training. She is a smart dog but needs discipline. Please consider this lovely girl if you are up to the challenge of training her and dealing with copious energy. This is my bfs dog so he should be able to provide more information and answer questions that I cannot. Rehoming due to not being able to adequately provide a home where she can run, play and just be herself. Our home is too small and she doesn't receive nearly enough attention and is cooped up in too small a space for more hours than I care to admit.
