About Copper

They call me Copper - kind of a masculine name for a pretty girl like myself - but hey it's just a name - give me a treat and you can call me whatever you want. I am just two years old. The next question you are gonna ask is 'what breed?' That is undetermined - the best 'GUESS' they say around here is I probably have some Shepherd in my background. I ask you - what does it matter when you are as sweet and beautiful as me? I am housebroken, good with kids and adults, I am good with other dogs and walk pretty darn good on a harness and will do just about anything you want me to do with a treat. I absolutely love it when you pay attention to me. I may be a little standoffish for a few minutes but I get over that pretty quickly (especially if you have a treat in your hand or pocket). I am an expert at finding treats. I am under 60 lbs. so still considered a 'medium' sized dog. Add to it I am pretty well housebroken - just a little bit of work to show me the spot at your place and we should be good to go. I came up from Texas so this Iowa weather is a little chilly for me still. You are going to want to meet me. An adoption application is required in order to visit - you will find that on our website at www.patriotsforpets.com (under the 'Adoption' tab). My adoption fee is $250.00. All adoption fees include spay/neuter, current shots, heartworm testing if appropriate, current preventatives such as fleas and heartguard and all pets are micro-chipped.
