About ZEKE

After losing my best friend of 13 yrs two days before Thanksgiving from cancer I decided in December that my house was too quiet and lonely. I read a post about two dogs and although I have never had two dogs at same time before I felt them having a friend might be good. I visited them twice at their previous home. I decided that I would try them out and the previous owner brought them to my house. He told me they were difficult to walk on leashes which I was not happy to hear as I really wanted a dog to take on walks. After about a week I decided they were more than I could handle so I contacted the lady who had made the original post. (The owner had reached out to her for help finding them homes.) She contacted the owner and he refused to take them back. She was also told they were UTD on shots and both neutered but after she finally received the Vet records it was determined that only one was neutered and both were due for shots last August. ZEKE - 9 yr old Catahula/Lab mix 87lbs Sweet dog, gets along with children and other dogs. He did a sleepover with 3 little dogs and did great except chased their cat so they decided against adoption.���� Not sure if he would have hurt the cat.��%A4���%8Fȉ'�%8D��'ە�%8F He will sit for treats. So so on leash. He does jump into the air when excited. Housebroken, uses doggie door and will let you know when time to eat.���� Will be UTD on shots & licensed this week. He will make a great family dog and appears to be a quick learner, just needs someone to spend time with him. The other dog has extreme anxiety but I am going to give him lots of love and hopefully he will feel safe. The adoption fee is to recoup a little of the money I spent on shots & license that was told already done. I have Zekes Vet records. He is micro-chipped but don't think it was updated but easy enough to do. Interested families will have a home & Vet check done. Can try a sleepover first if you want. Thanks
