About Steele

Lab / Catahoula
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Steele is a male Labrador/Catahoula Leopard Dog mix that stopped by frequently at a local resident's home. They were unable to locate his owner and asked for our help to find him a new loving family. We gave him the name 'Steele' because of his mottled dark gray coat. We estimate this handsome boy is eight months old and he weighs forty-seven pounds. He will be a large dog when full grown. Steele is a friendly pup that needs an active family that has the time to devote to his training. He will need to be housetrained and learn some basic obedience skills. Steele is a good fit for older children that can handle a playful large dog. He enjoys playing with other dogs and would welcome a canine companion in his new home. As far as we know he has not been around cats but we can test that for you. Steele will require plenty of daily exercise and play time. A fenced in yard will give him a safe place to run and explore. Once he is leash trained, Steele will make a great walking or hiking buddy. Steele thrives on love and attention and is such a wonderful dog. He will make a great lifelong friend and companion.
