Sadly I could be euthanized at any time now. I'm E-listed for 2 reasons: 1. I have anxious fearful and uncertain interactions with people. 2. I also have a medical condition called Spondylosis (progressive over time with need for maintenance). Can someone save my life? I am one super calm boy! I am a 1-year-old, neutered, brown and white American Pit Bull Terrier. I co-existed nicely with other dog but I started to get a bit timid and uncomfortable. So my adopter needs to be versed in fearful dogs, and must take me to the vet to address my spine condition. I can be uncoordinated and unsteady on my feet, so long active walks are not needed! The shelter recommends that I have an experienced adopter able to work on my socialization and leash training needs. The shelter also requires that I go to a home with no children, that I have a dog introduction if there is a dog in the family, and that my adopter has a Behavior Team Consult before I leave. No one has ever helped me before. Can someone take me to a vet and save my life?
