About Henry

***Adoption Pending*** This stunning boy is Henry, a 78 pound Border Collie / German Shepherd mix who was born on 1/17/20. Henry is an active boy who needs a home who will wear him out, preferably with a yard and a medium-large dog sibling who also loves to play. Henry knows his basics: sit, heel, up, go in the crate. He is house and crate trained. Henry is a social guy who likes people and other dogs. Due to his size and energy, he is not appropriate for a home with small kids. Henry is a fan of doggy daycare where he can play all day with his pals. His report card from doggy daycare is always filled with nothing but positive feedback. Oddly, he isn't a fan of small dogs with pug noses. Henry is a fun boy. He is also a wonderful adventure partner who likes car rides and trips to the park. He gets so excited when he gets to the park that he howls his happiness. He would be fantastic for jogging, hiking, and camping. Henry wants a home who likes to play with him. He will bring his toy and try to entice you to play. He loves to shake his rope toy back and forth vigorously! He loves to fetch, too (see him fetching g at the beach by clicking on the red YouTube button). He will appreciate a home who knows how to keep a young, active dog busy. When all of the fun is done, Henry does like belly rubs and chin scratches. He is also a talker, telling you that it's time for more fun. Henry is an active guy, not a cuddler. Henry is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He is located in Los Angeles. Adopters must be able to meet and adopt here. We do not ship our dogs. A home visit and vet reference are required.
