This gorgeous girl is Clover a sweet Siamese mix kitten from a litter of bottle fed babies. She is about 8.5 weeks old (2/13/21). In our experiences and that of many of our adopters bottle fed babies seem to tune into human pheromones and sense stress or anxiety. She is very affectionate and her favorite thing, even before eating is to cuddle and make biscuits. They are wonderful emotional support companions. Clover will be spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and has tested negative for FeLV/FIV. She can travel along the 1-35 in Texas for a small donation with one of our rescue partners. She is more than ready for a new, forever home. To adopt her, 3 personal references and one veterinary reference are needed; a completed adoption application and a signed adoption contract. Donation towards care and costs for Clover is $175. Please email [email protected] for an application and put Clara as the choice of which cat or kitten you are interested in adopting. Bottle fed kittens take many hours of dedication waking every 2 to 3 hours for some weeks to feed them with kitten milk replacer which costs about $90.00 for a 4 pound bag. They are the most vulnerable of all kittens in shelters and are generally euthanized immediately upon being dropped off there. Out of state adopters are welcome to apply if they have transportation to where they live or can fly to Austin or San Antonio to pick her up. Out of state adopters need to obtain an interstate health certificate as mandated by law ($103). If adopting two kittens they can often be on the same Interstate Health Certificate. SOS will facilitate the health certificate and meet at the airport for a small donation towards fuel and airport parking. Clover is very affectionate, playful, curious and snuggly. She loves to play with a feather wand and chase the laser dot.
