About Luca (west)

Hi, my name is LUCA - ID#A3702500. I am a neutered male, white and black American Pit Bull Terrier mix, and I weigh about 73 lbs. The shelter staff think I am about 5 years old, and I have been at the shelter since Dec 15, 2020. Luca is a shelter favorite for many staff and volunteers. He is happy and playful, social and affectionate, he walks well on leash snd is very handsome. Luca was in a home for about a year. Notes from previous owner indicates that he was OK with smaller dogs, and lided to play with empty water bottles. He does not like baths or pools. Luca does like to chew bones, and likes to sleep on the bed. He has not been around small children. Recent notes from volunteers about Luca: 1/26/2021 WALK Per volunteer - Easy to pull, walked well on leash, seemed to enjoy chasing balls and fetch, treats and people, pulled a little bit initially but settled down quickly. 1/31/2021 WALK Per volunteer - Luca's pull and return were easy. He went straight to the door. We went to the big play yard where he played fetch and appeared to enjoy running around the yard. He walked very well on leash during our walk and showed nice manners. He was a little excited when taking the treats. He was a very happy boy the entire time we were together. 2/14/2021 OBSERVATION When giving treats K9 is very ravenous for treats K9 starts to tremble, waiting for more. May need twice feeding.
