About Michi

**PLEASE READ MICHI'S BIO THOROUGHLY. ALL REQUIRMENTS MUST BE MET.** Oh, isn't our little girl, Michi just absolutely adorable? Michi is a 2 year old female Min Pin/Chihuahua mix with maybe a touch of Greyhound (she has got some long legs!). Michi was rescued from a horrible situation where she was living outside a home with her 3 puppies (all have found homes) and never ever allowed in the house. She came from a bad neighborhood and since she was left in an unfenced front yard, her and her puppies would sleep under the house or just roam the streets and then come back home where they just got food thrown on the ground. When we got her to our vet, she was covered in ticks and fleas and had demodex mange which was mild but she is fine now. Since Michi came from such a feral way of living, we see that she is very skittish and nervous when she comes into a new environment. She never experienced or heard 'household noises' such as the vacuum, the blender, or even loud talking. She will run and hide to a safe spot when she hears these noises, but she is getting better. Michi MUST have another young and small dog who is as equally sweet and kind as she is. She CANNOT be an 'only' dog in the home. She absolutely LOVES dogs and looks to them for reassurance, comfort, and cuddles. She needs a dog friend that will allow her to sleep right next to them. She is good with people but we see she has some fear of men, and if there are men in the home, they need to patient and understanding that she will take time to warm up to them. Michi is SUPER food motivated, so that can help with reassuring her that you will not do her any harm, so hand feeding is a great way to make that bond. We DO NOT want this little girl crated. She must have a home that will allow her on the furniture. She LOVES a warm cozy blanket on the couch that she can burrow under and she will want to sleep on the bed with you. Since she is such a skittish little girl, we cannot place her in a home with children. She MUST be in an adult only home. Poor Michi had such a horrible and rough life that we want to make sure that she gets the absolute best forever home out there!! WE ONLY ADOPT IN LOS ANGELES AND SURROUNDING AREAS AS AN IN PERSON HOME CHECK AND TRIAL PERIOD ARE REQUIRED.
