Chico Paz is a darling, delicate and quirky little Chihuahua mix who will need a very gentle and patient person to show him all the love he so deserves. He is 4 years old and weighs 4 pounds. Chico Paz would do best in a calm and quiet home as he is a bit fearful loud noises and new people. Chico Paz gets along with dogs and cats as long as they respect his boundaries. Chico Paz would benefit greatly from another calm but confident canine in his home to help show him the ropes. Chico has no interest in playing, but enjoys the company of other animals. Chico Paz is a fast learner and is housebroken in his foster home, but will require patience as he learns the new rules in his forever home. Once Chico Paz warms up to his people he is a wonderful and sweet companion. Chico will need a home with adults only, or older, dog-savvy children. Although he isn't a fan of walking on a leash, he loves to be harnessed and safely clipped in a doggie sling or backpack to get out for fresh air and to hang with his people and posse. He will need a securely fenced in yard or patio that he can use when he wants to go potty. One of Chico's favorite things is napping under a mountain of soft blankets after each meal. He does not bark much, but will bark when strangers come to the house. Chico will require at least a couple of visits prior to adoption so that he has time to warm up and to be sure of a perfect fit for his forever home. Chico Paz had a dental while he was with us and had 15 extractions and was already missing 5 teeth! He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $300 and includes a complimentary follow-up veterinary visit. If you would like to meet this adorable little man, please contact his foster mom, Tammyra at [email protected] with some info about yourself, and why you feel you are the perfect person/family for Chico Paz.
