This beautiful girl is Gia. Please read her bio carefully: Gia was turned over to us after she failed out of two adoptive homes. What we were told from the last adopter was that she was food aggressive and did not like men. We were told that the food aggression was a product of having to fight her littermates for food. We took her into our rescue and this is what we have learned: Gia is an extremely smart, loving dog. She is very submissive to people and responds well to verbal corrections. She has a lot of energy (of course she does, she is a mix of working breeds). While she enjoys playing with other dogs at times, she absolutely does not want to share with them. She attaches to a person and does not want to share that person with another dog. In our home, she has shown no aggression ever to my husband, myself, my 14-year old, a dog trainer, or strangers. In fact, when she meets people, she wants to jump up and say hello. There has also been no food aggression towards people. She is praise and food motivated and knows basic obedience commands. She is extremely smart, fully housebroken, spayed and chipped. This dog would do best if she had a job or if she were with a person or couple who are active. As you can see, she loves cuddling in bed, but she loves to run around outside, especially if she knows there is snow. Gia deserves to find her forever home and we won't give up until we find a suitable home for her where she can be the one and only.
