About Mary

We will not consider applications that do not meet the requirements. Mary is a 4.5 mos old Corgi purchased from a pet store so likely from a puppy mill. She was surrendered by her owners because they were allergic to her. She has both an independent personality but also likes to cuddle on the big bed (on her terms of course). Mary is having a difficult time learning to potty outside because all she wants to do is play, so an experienced, patient home who employs positive reinforcement training and a secure FENCED IN YARD are REQUIRED. We're looking for a home with another YOUNG and playful dog Corgi-sized or smaller for Mary to play with. Mary likes to be the boss when it comes to doggie friends and doesn't like to back down when challenged, so no alpha dogs and no large dogs in her new home. Previous Corgi experience is REQUIRED. She would love a job or a sport and someone dedicated to spending time teaching her new things. Mary pulls some on the leash but like walkies. Mary doesn't like the crate for longer than an hour or so and REQUIRES a family who is home often and won't be going back to the office post-covid. Mary likes to chase and bark at the cat so it would be best if there were NO CATS in her new home as well as respectful children over 12 y/o. She is still going through puppy chewing and mischief so loves getting the zoomies and playing. She is spayed, utd on vaccs, and chipped. Her adoption fee is $500 and WE ARE NOT DOING ANY OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS RIGHT NOW.
