About Sanka

Sanka is a very sweet and eager to please kind of pup. We rescued Sanka off a well-known dog abandoning road. He was roughly 9 months old then and seemed to be abused or was very mistreated. Hes' had a lot of kinks to work out and although he is a superb dog now, we do have one issue we can't seem to get straight... Sanka is mildly food/toy/treat aggressive. He's generally ok around other dogs if there is no toys/food to be territorial over. Sanka is a wonderful running/walking partner with tons of energy and a love for ponds and sprinklers. He is currently an indoor dog but would make a great outdoor dog too (Provided a warming shelter). Sanka is not good around small animals like chickens, cats, or rabbits. I think its due to the hunting bread in him. Sanka is house trained and crate trained. We feed him two times a day of any generic dog kibble. We ask that you DO NOT FREE FEED Sanka due to his food aggression. He is willing and happy to go in his crate to eat till he is done. Sanka is great with high energy children above the age of 5. He understands a decent amount of commands and is treat motivated. We love Sanka but we have young children with wandering hands and are about to be moving states away. If Sanka doesn't fit well with new owners we are willing to take him back without hardship. We just want Sanka to have the unconditional loving family he deserves.
