About TEDDY

HI - I'M TEDDY. I'm a 10-year-old partially-blind American Eskimo, currently in a foster�%A0home in Seattle. Like most Eskies, I'm one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet. I will lean in for a hug if you sit on the floor with me, and will snuggle and lay on your lap. I love going outside for short walks. I need to be taken out pretty regularly since I'm a senior, so will do best with someone who works from home or is retired. But I am housetrained! I am an excellent eater, and dinner time is when I get the most excited and happy.�%A0 I truly take comfort in the company of a mellow dog who will be very tolerant and accepting of my quirky up-close and personal ways of getting to know them. I am happy to share a comfy bed with a doggy brother or sister. I would do best in a home without stairs due to my vision issues, though can easily be lifted up a couple of stairs with a harness/sling. While not totally blind,I could use some gentle guidance when we go for walks or outings.�%A0 �%A0I tend to have sundowner's sydrome, so I take a pill in the evening to help me sleep.�%A0 I need a forever home, with someone who is willing to help me in my golden years. Can you adopt me?
