I'm a striking red Shepherd. My DNA was done by Embark, definitely the most accurate. I'm a mix of 3 breeds. I'm Australian Cattle Dog 43.7%, German Shepherd 26.2%, Belgian Malinois 23.8%. I have proof of her breeds. She had a heartbreaking beginning. Her 'owner' or someone pushed her onto a country road during a thunderstorm and near freezing temperatures. An eyewitness turned around to pick up a drenched, terrified dog. We took Scarlett in the following morning. She was in heat & heartworm positive. She's had all vaccinations, spayed, & she's on heartworm treatment. If an adopter cannot afford treatment, we will pay for her treatment until finish. Scarlett is very protective of her owner. She needs to be an only pet. She misinterpreted affection to other dogs as a threat. Please consider your current pets before applying for Scarlett. Her ideal adopter is someone familiar with her breeds, has a house with a secure fenced yard. We don't discriminate, including age. However, Scarlett is strong and needs a lot of mental and physical stimulation. Directions to adopt are at the beginning of this description.
