About Marx

This cutie is Marx, a Cattledog mix (mix unknown). He was born in November, 2020, and should be around 40 - 45 pounds when full grown. Marx has learned a lot for his age. He knows to sit and wait before coming out of the crate and to sit before eating. Marx is doing really well with house training and only has an ocassional accident. He is crate trained, too. Marx is good with everyone he has met so far. He has also been good with other dogs and cats. He also has a tendency to be dominant with other animals. Marx will chase a ball but gets distracted. He is pretty young, so hopefully becomes a good fetcher over time. Marx has been nice so far in a car. He should be a good adventure buddy, and he will need leash training. Marx wants to be coddled. With a pup with this temperament, coddling him will lead to behavioral issues. Any adopter needs to know how to manage a punky herder and not spoil dogs. Marx would be a fantastic sport dog, whether it be flyball or agility or some other active and intellectually stimulating effort. He is also really vocal and talks about things. Marx is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. Adopters must be able to meet and adopt in SoCal. We don't ship our dogs. A home visit and vet reference are required.
