Sami has had the epitome of the toughest cat life. She was giving birth to litter after litter until she was finally trapped with her 5 newborn kittens. All but 1 died of malnutrition because Sami was so severely anemic and worm-infested. After 8 months of rehab and kindness and a VERY expensive dental surgery, she has nearly turned a 180. She is still timid around most people but with a lot of patience and genuine kindness shown towards her, she has turned from a cat who constantly hissed at the attempts at touching her into one who eagerly looks forward to pets at feeding time! She would be an indoor-only cat. She does get along with other cats really well but dogs would be too much for her. She easily takes her medicine daily which is 0.75mls of prednisolone (she has a painful gum disease).
