I am Rosie's third owner. She was born on November 2, 2014. She started out at a breeder in Virginia. She's had one litter born April 2018. The second owner In Washington, paid $5000 just for her, And then they paid a driver in a private car to drive her from Virginia to Washington state. They have her AKC papers, they tried to breed her twice and so they also had x-rays and ultrasounds. I call her my $10,000 free dog. The Second owners gave her to me because there was no way to make up the money and they are suing the original shelter for Misrepresentation, Among other things. She Is supposed to have her deworming in August 2021, and pro heart injection in December 2021, and also it in December she supposed to have the rabies booster. Also an August the comfortis pill, And 2019 she had pyrantel. They kept her AKC Papers since they gave her free to me they didn't want me to make money off of her. I love her very, very, very, very, much. I'm crying as I write this! As a puppy, we think she mainly was kenneled and not taught to play or any commands. She doesn't know what to do with toys and she really hasn't gotten used to my husband or any man. I got her in august 2019. She's She's a very untrusting and scared dog. I took her to a behavior specialist at the Humane Society. They said it would take a year for her to adjust to the people in the house, and maybe learn some skills or never learn any. I mean she's good she potties outside she's very sweet, goofy, and happy now but still gets scared and untrusting. She does tell me when she needs things. The reason I can't keep her is a five-year-old girl came over and she lunged at her. She didn't bite her, but it was really scary. I have two new grandbabies and now I'm worried about that. She really needs to be in a home with no children probably under middle school, and it would be good to not have a male figure in the home. But she could get used to one. My husband is very tall and I think she's bothered by that. I can't even look her in the face Because she loves me, and it feels like a betrayal. She will come with a book called, Do-Over Dog as well as some other things. She has made so much progress with us. For the first month or so, the behavior specialist said to not even look at her but just leave our arms down and let her come to us. It didn't take that long for me, only a couple weeks. She's a perfect cuddling dog once she gets to know you. She loves walks and walks well on a leash. I know I've written a lot. You can call me and leave a voicemail if I don't answer.
