About Bingo

Shih Tzu mix
Age: Senior
Sex: Male

B-I-N-G-O... Bingo was his name-o! Do we have you singing yet? Bingo is an 11yr old Shihtzu looking for his forever. Bingo came to us after his owner passed away. He was in pretty rough shape; his mouth was bleeding, his fur very dirty, and overall just seemed sad. We got him into our vet right away, and he is now finally ready for his new home! Bingo is hypoallergenic/non shedding and weighs in at 12lbs. He is deaf, and his vision is limited, but neither of those restrict him from loving his people. He is all about his people, and just wants to be near them and would rather not share them with another dog so would do best as a only dog. He would do best in a home where his people are home more then not. How he is with children and cats is unknown. Bingo does bark a bit, so he requires a home and not in an apartment or condo that shares a wall. He is mostly housebroken, but will mark inside and due to his age struggles to hold it all the time, so he needs a patient and understanding family that doesn't mind a little extra cleanup. He has no problem wearing belly bands, which protect floors and furniture from getting wet when he does have accidents. He is great on a leash, and rides well in the car. Bingo doesn't require a lot, but has A LOT of love to give! He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, dental done, microchipped, and vet checked. His adoption fee is $250 which includes a complimentary vet visit, and he will go home with his medication (slightly elevated liver enzymes). Please bring any current dogs in the home to meet Bingo to make sure it is a good fit. To meet him, come to our shelter location at 1102 W Hatcher Road in Phoenix 85021, open Tuesday to Sunday 11am to 6pm. --Covid update: To adhere to CDC guidelines, we are open for adoptions only at a max capacity of 15 people in the building at a time. Masks/face coverings are required. For the safety of our staff and customers, we ask that you practice social distancing, sanitization, and if exposed to Covid-19 or sick to please stay home.-- //www.facebook.com/arizonasmalldogrescue/
