Jonah is a approximately 1 1/2 - 2 year old boy who looks like a cattle dog / aussie mix. He's kind of a shorter guy. Jonah loves people and loves treats. He came into rescue from the shelter because he had an injury to his left rear leg. The shelter vet thought he had a broken bone. Turns out his hip was dislocated. The best solution for Jonah was an FHO surgery. This removes the head of the femur bone so he doesn't have bone rubbing and allows him to gain use of his leg again. Jonah had his surgery before Christmas. Rested and recovered and is now enjoying special time at his water rehab. Jonah is getting his spunk back is improving daily in how much he uses his leg. He even tries a bit of running and jumping. Jonah does best with female dogs his size but would prefer to be an only dog. He's a pretty easy going guy who would love a family of his own to enjoy.
