About Pepper

****adoption pending**** This pretty blue girl is Pepper, a 4 year old Australian Cattledog who weighs about 58 pounds. Pepper knows her basic commands: Sit, Stay, Come, and Lay. She could use a refresher on come and stay. She also knows a few tricks: Roll over, Paw (Shake). Pepper is house and crate trained. She sleeps and eats in her crate. Pepper is good with men, women, and calm kids. She will not be placed in a home with kids 5 or younger. Pepper rides nicely in the car in her crate. She is great with short drives, but can get car sick on long trips. It's easy to manage. Just don't feed her before a long car ride. Pepper likes to play fetch and really loves to play tug of war. Pepper is not good with any small animals. She is dog selective with dogs her size and larger. Ideally she would be the only dog in the home so can can have her people all to herself. She is not a dog park, dog daycare, or dog beach dog. She should be on leash when other animals may be around. Pepper would prefer a home in the country or a quiet neighborhood. She can be nervous of cars when walking on a busy street. She is also leash reactive when she sees small dogs, and sometimes dogs her size. Pepper is really all about her people. She loves belly rubs and cuddling. She will keep you amused by barking at animals on tv. She is a love bug who also requires that she gets plenty of exercise. Pepper is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. She is located in Yorba Linda, CA. Adopters must be able to meet and adopt here on SoCal. We do not ship our dogs.
