This spitfire is Nina, a Cattledog girl who was born in July, 2020. Nina is not suitable to live with small animals (no cats to chickens) and is not available to families with kids under junior high age. If you want a dog for your kids or to be a playmate for your dog, this isn't the pup. Nina loves to learn and already knows quite a bit: Sit, down, stay, circle, come, shake, nose touch (working on a figure 8 through legs, and high 5). This girl requires a ton of mental stimulation so her family must be prepared to keep up the learning. Nina is house and crate trained. She has been good with the people she has met. Her foster is working with her on not being mouthy and not jumping up on people when excited. Nina likes other dogs, though they may find her very irritating. She jumps on them and has a ton of energy for having fun. We are working on teaching her that it's not okay to be too much! Nina is high energy, more than usual for the breed. She absolutely loves to fetch. She would be a fantastic performance sports prospect for agility, flyball, dog dancing, or even dock diving. Nina is learning about the leash. It's a work in progress. This skill will definitely require more work. She is also good in the car if she is in a crate. Travelling with her not in a crate is unadvisable as she would constantly be in motion. Nina will absolutely push her people to own the house. She requires someone who knows how to manage that. She is also extremely smart and her mind is always moving. She will work for food. In short, this girl is a working dog, not a walk around the neighborhood, play some fetch, and then relax kind of dog. Nina is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. Adopters must be able to come to SoCal to meet and adopt. We do not ship our dogs.
