About Jada

Her name is Jada, she's an 11 year old female pit bull and she's a sight for sore eyes! She's a friendly loving and very active dog. Unfortunately she's come to the era of being a senior dog and has induced some medical issues: hypothyroidism, hot spots. If possible she would need medication for the rest of her life but unfortunately I was not able to continue to afford her medication. For her hotspots I have shampoos and conditioners I can provide to ease them as they aren't persistent but grow fast on mostly her chest area. She also sheds but I have brushes and even nail clippers I can also provide. She loves to play for hours, will kiss you when you're sad and has extreme potential to be a support dog as I have considered it in the past. She needs someone there at all times due to really bad separation anxiety since I took her into my care for what was supposed to be a short period of time until I found her someone who could give her the world. She also has been a single dog for most of her life so she might be timid but not aggressive one bit toward other animals, children and cats. She most likely would need to be the only pet in the home and senior dog is an understatement for how she is actively. She will play and play but will definitely give you a break and nap for hours. She replies to sit, go, come, lay down and sometimes to give paw. She has a specific food she was being fed due to the hotspots and her recent weight fluctuation but that is also something I can provide as well since I have a new bag here with me for her. It is Zignature brand lamb or catfish but I'm sure any allergen free food is perfect for her. I really just need her to find a better more open home where she can run and play for as long as she pleases because she deserves a free life and I unfortunately cannot give her the attention and dedication she would need in an owner. She will be the pet you won't regret so I hope she finds a great family soon.
