About Nikita

Nikita is a gorgeous almost 2 year old Pit Bull/ Boxer mix looking for a forever home that can keep up with her! She weighs 47.4 pounds and is full grown. Nikita is a very friendly girl that loves her people very loyally and is up for any adventure. Nikita was adopted once and we were all so thrilled to see her living a life of dreams. Sadly, Nikita is back in our care because she needs a home where she will not need to stay in a boarding facility as she gets very nervous in boarding situations and does not handle herself well when stressed. Nikita has done well with men, women, and teenagers. Nikita has done well around younger children but needs to learn to control her excitement so mature is better. Nikita likes to play rough and tends to be dominant with other dogs, she would prefer to meet any potential canine companions prior to adoption. She would do best in a home with a securely fenced yard where she can exercise and learn new tricks. Nikita will need a home that is determined to get her into training so she can learn her manners. She is partially house broken, kennel trained, knows how to use a doggy door, walks good on a leash and rides well in the car. No apartments or rentals with breed or weight restrictions. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, vet checked and microchipped. Her adoption fee of $120 includes a free vet visit.
