About Snickers

Snickers is a handsome 4 year old long haired Chihuahua mix who has made it his New Year's Resolution to find a new forever family and give them all of his love! He is full grown and weighs in around 15lbs. Snickers is a very sweet and lovable pup, but he may play hard to get and be a bit shy at first before warming up to show his happy personality. Snickers is good with other small and gentle dogs, but would love an intro before going home with his friends and is happy to be the only dog too. Snickers will need a mature home of adults only. Snickers is house broken and dog door trained. He is the very best at fetch and loves to play! Snickers is great on a leash and happy to take an evening stroll or a short hike. Snickers is an anxious boy who has been prescribed daily medications to help with his anxiety. He would do best in a home with not too many visitors, as he likes to protect his people and his home from any strangers. All adults living in the home and any current dogs need to come to meet him. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, vet checked and microchipped. His adoption fee of $300 includes a free vet visit. To potentially adopt him come to our shelter location at 1102 W Hatcher Road in Phoenix 85021, open Tuesday to Sunday 11am to 6pm. --Covid update: To adhere to CDC guidelines, we are open for adoptions only at a max capacity of 15 people in the building at a time.
