About Taz

Adoption Fee: $300
Pit Bull
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Posting my dog is very hard for me to do. I have had Taz since he was a baby. He has always been with me where ever I go. I literally spoiled him his entire life & that is where I feel as though I went wrong. While I was at work I would send Taz with my dad so that he isn't home by his self, which included Taz seeing my dad as more of the dominant leader because my dad would be more assertive & I would be the 'spoiler'. The more I spoiled him and let him go to my dads instead of caging him he began to not listen. I'm more so upset with myself because I know this is a problem I've subsequently caused. Recently he has tested me as in trying to show that he is the one in charge (didn't show teeth) but he growled. I'm a petite woman so yes it scared me and now I don't feel any type of connection with him anymore at this point which hurts to say. I would think because I literally gave him everything that something like that would never happen. Taz is not neutered so maybe he has built up testosterone. Now with all the negative that has been said there is a lot of good with this dog. He is a people person, he loves new friends and attention. Only thing I would say is that I don't think he's ok with small children because he knows he can jump on them, & will try to hump them (again, could be because he isn't neutered). He as been around multiple teenagers which he respond better to & loves to play with. He is a good guard dog but also loves to cuddle. He loves any type of toy especially tennis balls & loves going for walks, hikes or being able to roam free at parks. I would prefer Taz to go with a male adopter who doesn't have small children, & has the time & patience it'll take for Taz to get use to them. Also would prefer some one who will work Taz and turn him into a obedient 'beast'. Taz has paperwork on all his shots & is currently up to date on them. I'm only asking for a fee because he comes with a cage, food, dog multiple dog bowls, toys, leash & harness, & up to date shots. This dog is my WORLD so if you are interested in him please know that I will be asking multiple questions and hope to get updates on him if things do work out.
