About Cori

Cori 'found' us a few days ago and we are unable to foster her. She is a very sweet dog who just wants to be loved and love back. She gets along well with us in our house (two adults and one teenager) and has been very willing to meet new people. We don't know how she would do around children as we have not tried to introduce her to any. She is not leash trained but LOVES walks and would be a great companion for someone who walks/hikes. She doesn't seem to be bothered by other dogs-we encounter many from a distance on our walks and she pays them no mind and has also encountered one of ours who was in his crate. We have not tried to integrate her since she isn't spayed and can't stay so we don't know what she would be like with a dog who wasn't behind a fence or in a crate. She was emaciated when we found her and definitely exhibits food insecurity (keep your counters clear of food!) but does not appear to have any nervous tendencies-she is kept in one of our bathrooms and hasn't touched the trash can or extra toilet paper rolls that are easily accessible. She was seen by a vet to learn if she was chipped (not), got an updated rabies vaccine and is HW negative. We want to see her find her fur-ever home and enjoy the life she deserves.
