About Archie

Archie is a 5 year old Terrier mix who is looking for just the right forever home. Archie is a boy who knows what he needs in life. Luckily, most of what he needs is just his people. Archie has a very severe case of separation anxiety and will try to hurt himself if he is kenneled or left home alone. Archie needs a home where someone is always home with him or a home where he can go with his humans when they do need to leave. Archie has been with the rescue previously and made his way back in search of his the right home. Recently, he was seen at the vet for some hormonal hair loss and since his hair has begun to grow back. Archie is an active boy, which is good as he needs to lose a few pounds. He loves toys with squeakers, fetch and playtime with other dogs after a slow intro. Archie will need a home with a very securely fenced yard and will still need watched carefully to not climb or dig. Archie is house broken and knows how to sit and stay. Archie loves attention, but does not love to be picked up. Archie currently weighs 23 pounds, but would do best to lose a few. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and vet checked. His adoption fee is $220 and comes with a complimentary vet exam.
