Boaz is a cute Chihuahua mix who was born into rescue on 2/10/2019 and currently weighs 16 pounds. Boaz was adopted from us at 8 weeks old and recently returned because he got a bit too protective of his little girl. He is a very affectionate cuddle bug who loves to snuggle on the couch and sleeps in the big bed at night. Boaz is very playful and would prefer to have another playful dog close to his age in his new home. He loves toys and Nylabones! He can become protective of his person with other dogs, but with a friendly dog he will gladly share. Boaz is a smart boy who uses a doggy door and is wonderful with his housebreaking. A fenced yard is preferred for him to run and play in and he likes to go on walks. He does have a little separation anxiety in the beginning but once he is comfortable and has his toys and a buddy he is fine. He is not a destructive dog at all. Boaz should not go to a home with kids, and we don't think he would do well with cats or chickens. He has been to the vet for a wellness check, is up to date on shots, neutered, heartworm negative, and microchipped with a lifetime registration. He will make a sweet companion to some lucky person!
