Smart, playful & affectionate, everyone meet #Nala. She's 4 years old, 55lbs, a American Staffordshire Terrier mix & is just a big lover at the end of the day. Not only is Nala absolutely stunning, she's the biggest cuddle monster that you'll ever meet. She loves her daily walks, enjoys sunbathing in the backyard, lives for movie nights & loves to give big kisses. She's 100% potty trained, 100% crate trained and does well on a leash. Nala knows all of her basic commands and is very eager to please. The perfect family for Nala would be one that is active, loves the outdoors, avid runner or loves going on daily walks, and definitely a family that loves puppy kisses. When it comes to people, Nala loves everyone! She loves & adores children and would make the perfect family pet. She'd do best in a home with kids over 13 years of age because at times she doesn't always understand her strength. Nala would thrive best as the only dog in her furever home, although she has made a few friends while in our care. Nala is female dog aggressive, but does well with submissive male dogs with a proper introduction. Nala absolutely adores the cat that is currently in her foster home- especially when it comes to cuddle time. The best characteristic about Nala is that all she craves in life is human companionship- even after she was chained up for her life & every human up until 6 months ago who failed her miserably. In just a few short months, our baby girl Nala has come so far. When Nala came into our rescue she was unvetted, not spayed & ended up being heartworm positive. We're excited to announce that Nala just finished her last round of heartworm treatment and is now looking for her forever home.
